LAND AND CITY
Views and light always inspire me. Especially at sunrise or set when colors are saturated, constrasts strong and shadows long. I have a ton of pictures in my archive from all over the world. Hard to choose a direction. I need a guide. Also, merely depicting these places becomes too direct. Painting for the sake of painting and sharing a love for the image. What more do I want to show.

I can of course add interventions like the course I teach. Not a bad idea because my course might improve. Choice of subject, location, message etc. Proposals for painting is something that makes sense but also a step backwards.
