The work is based on the Indian Rathacakra-Vedi or fire altar. A circle consisting of squares. Our planet and home reconfigured in orthogonal human fashion, the anthropocene. Humans, the only species to harness the power of fire, ultimately cannot stop stop the burning. After the humans are gone, new life will flourish.
